Mission and Philosophy

Mission
Our mission is to empower the disadvantaged, especially farmers and to inspire leaders to increase agricultural-based economic opportunity while sustaining natural resources. We work with businesses, foundations, schools, governments, and communities to build customized local and global partnerships that meet the world’s growing demand for food.

Philosophy
We actively promote social responsibility to contribute to societal goals of a philanthropic, activist, or charitable nature by supporting the following organizations:

Hawaii Food Bank
Hawaii Susan G. Komen Run for the Cure
Arthritis Foundation of Hawaii: Walk to Cure Arthritis
Make a Wish Foundation: Jingle Rock Run
Goodwill Industries Hawaii, Inc.

Kiva - is an international nonprofit with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. We do this by crowdfunding loans and unlocking capital for the underserved, improving the quality and cost of financial services, and addressing the underlying barriers to financial access around the world. Through Kiva's work, students can pay for tuition, women can start businesses, farmers are able to invest in equipment and families can afford needed emergency care.

Since 2009, we have assisted in 110 microloans totaling more than $4000 to to clients in 70 countries. View profile
